Why did Bruce Lee beat so many fighters?
Both his speed and tactics were underestimated and they probably never saw tactics outside of their school. I talked to Melvin Quen about it since he studied with Bruce
and Jimmy at the same time. He beat one guy after another even though they watched the previous match. They did not know how fast he was and they were easy picking for him. He would go hands up, right leg forward, the back foot would shoot forward and look like it kicked the front foot into the guys shin (or higher, a Pendulum Kick)Bruce was leaning back. Then he would come forward with his lead fist with a Fa-Jing (snapping fist). This would knock anyone out. I could not find Bruce doing this but I did find this guy who was very good but no Fa-Jing.
