It was timed and when time was up that group moved on. We had two movie stars there, John Saxon and Gerald Okamura who talked to the group, gave out photos … Read more

It’s almost over!! Do we understand the problems we have. I will use different code words so you can read what I write without setting of monitoring computers. One more time!!! The last few days I have spent some time looking at various San Soo websites and now it is obvious why many students are confused and have no idea of our Art’s history. There are many issues to discuss but I will start with our Art’s history. I have spent many years searching and you may not know that I made the first lineage chart while listening to what Jimmy told me. … Read more

There are folks out there who are trying to mold their story views into real facts and I see you guys giving praise to their views when we have proven them wrong. I see attaboys to Paul and Johnny and I wish you knew the real history I have had with … Read more

Grafting! I often go to other sites to look at Ideas on combat. I saw an explanation that I have used and believed in. Our techniques may be very different but the idea of combining different moves by leaving no gaps and I liked the way it was said. This was explained on Ed Parker’s Kenpo site. Does action beat reaction? Sounds good and most would say yes but Jimmy changed my mind. That came when he taught Nam Pi, a whole new ball game. I will warn you up front that there were something like 79 or so Nam Pi and some I have seen have 200 or more, so if they have more they made many up or did not understand what Nam Pi was all about. Where are the books? When I started San Soo in 1962 the story of the books was a very big issue, these contained ancient secrets of combat that were being passed to us from Buddhist Temples, nothing anyone else had. Being a cop and later an investigator some things did not make sense. I asked him so many questions I am surprised he did not kick me out. First, the book did not look Chinese, … Read more
