Ideas and tactics Jimmy shared!
When I first met Jimmy he was friendly but kind of scary, he could get angry and use language equal to any Sailer. In the early 70’s he mellowed and developed a real caring for his students and forgot the way he used to talk. He would share things or lessons in life to make us smarter, what a job he took on. I
will cover some that I can remember. He said he was talking to 2 or 3 people in a park, one guy offended Jimmy and he decided he would hit him. He was always tuned to his surroundings and waited for the perfect time. A car turned in to park, he knew when the guy got out and slammed the door people would turn to look who it was. With perfect timing he struck and the guy and he went down. The people all wondered what happened, Jimmy said, he just fell down. While everyone tried to help the guy, Jimmy slipped away. I have a few more for next time.
