Our real San Soo Association story!
When Jimmy first retired we felt no one was powerful enough to replace him so we decided on an association. Many of us met in a room in the bowling alley with an atty. to start the process, Harry Sera who has a strong personality was our first President, we had many meetings but each time we had less people. My position was on the standards committee, our job was to visit studios to see if they were teaching San Soo as Jimmy taught it. We jumped through all the legal hoops and we had a real association, we met to form rules and settle disputes. The second Pres. was Al Rubin but as usually happens with groups many people quit coming and finally the asso. was no more. Bernie picked it up and last I saw it has been defunct for some time. I believe if anyone wants to revive it I think they can, it is easy to check and see.

Ya I talked to Jack after he took over the old school. I tlod him what years I trained with Jimmy. We shared some thoughts and I stayed and watched for a while. Mainly I was remembering my days there. This was around 1996. The school was falling apart and looked really bad. As I left I could still here Jimmy say bye Tim c u next week.. I sure miss those days
