Finding Our Roots

While investigating in China, Amar located the existing Choy Li Fut school which was Jimmy H Woo’s School. It has relocated since the original Monastery was destroyed and burned. We were able to find Jimmy’s Cousin, Chan Sai Mo who was was the Son of Chan Siu Hung who was the man who trained Jimmy H Woo, he was then in his late 90s but has since passed away. They were boyhood friends and he remembers Jimmy and said he was a fast learner. They said at this time Tony Garcia is their star pupil and he has their permission to teach any place in the the world. Tony is a Cuban who moved to China living there and learning Choy Li Fut and Shuai Jiao which makes his art look very much like Jimmy’s, they call it Nam Pai Kung Fu. Don’t be concerned with the varying uniforms which the others are wearing because he travels to many Schools to teach. Choy Li Fut has few throws but since both men combined the same to Arts their workouts look very much the same. This is very important evidence that Choy Li Fut was our first original art until Jimmy added Shuai Jiao.
