Jimmy told a story of a time he was in a restaurant and he watched a burly-looking man challenge people to hit him in the stomach. He said he could take any man’s punch. Several men hit him but no one seemed to hurt him. Final4 Jimmy asked if he could try and the brute responded “Go ahead”. Jimmy stepped in and drove a one-knuckle punch into the man’s stomach area. The brute grabbed his stomach and slumped downward. As Jimmy walked away, he could hear the man whimpering like a small child.

Great story. It seems a smaller diameter causes more concentrated pain. Tap the top of your forearm lightly with a hammer fist. Give it a couple minutes then strike the same area with the same amount of force with a middle finger one knuckle strike. The pain is a lot more intense. Just a matter of physics.

I’ve heard the store with the detail that Jimmy turned his fist perpendicular to the abdomen muscle fibers allowing the knuckles to penetrate deeper into the guy’s abdomen.

IIRC it happened on a main street, Jimmy briefly turned away before speaking with LEO (to refresh memory).

Tim C. Ah yes, the hand registry question. One day I was coming out of the jail and a pompous guy came up. He really was into himself, asked where he could register his hands since he was a black belt and his hands were deadly weapons. I told him to go to Sheriff’s records and tell the people there he wanted to register his hands under 290 pc of the penal code. I watched him go in, I jumped in my car and spead out of town. By the way 290 pc is the way you register sex offenders. heh heh
